There are many types of traditional foods among the Arsi OromoThese
traditional dishes are prepared for various ceremonies and many of them are
also prepared for your own use. Popular traditional dishes among the Ormo Arsi
and how they are prepared.
#Finiina;- Finiina is
a red meat that is dried in the sun and ground into a mortar, then mixed with
butter.This traditional dish can be kept for a long time without spoiling.
#Marqa;- marqa is
a traditional dish made from garlic. Marqi made from garlic is the most
popular, but it is also made from wheat and corn. When marqi is made from

cooked or dried on a pot.
#Crackers;- crushed
wheat or barley crumbs are ground into qiixxa (xoroshoo) and after cooking or

#Micciirraa;-
micciirraa is used for food during weddings and various contributions. This

Daraqoota is a traditional dish that is often prepared. It is made from wheat

#Halaqanaa;-
