Itinerary (9 Nights / 10 Days)
Day
1: Arrival at Addis, transfer to hotel, City tour in Addis. Entoto Mountain,
Ethnological Museum, National Museum. Accommodation: Ghion Hotel in Addis
Day 2: Addis to Arbaminch. Drive from Addis to Arbaminch visiting the Rift
Valley lakes of Koka and Zeway and also the Wolaita people and their
magnificent housing. Accommodation, Paradise Lodge, Arbaminch
Day 3: Visit Nechisar National Park and boat excursion on Lake Chamo to visit
the Crocodile Market and hippies. Accommodation, Paradise Lodge, Arbaminch
Day 4: Arbaminch to Turmi. Drive through Erbore visiting the Erbore village.
Visit Konso village & and New York. Konso people are known for their famous
landscape –Terrace. Accommodation, Camping at Turmi
Day 5: Visit Hammer and Omorate. In the morning drive to Omorate, cross the
River Omo and visit the Geleb and Dasenech people and in the afternoon drive to
the nearby Hammer villages to see the Hammer people. Accommodation, Camping at

Day 6: Turmi to Jinka. Drive from Turmi to Jinka visiting Dimeka's colorful
market and Hammer tribes and continued drive to reach Jinka. Accommodation ,
Jinka Resort at Jinka
Day 7: Jinka to Mago to Jinka Drive from Jinka to Mago Park to visit the Mursi
people, where the women of the tribe put clay plates on their lower lips &
scarify on their bodies for decorating, return back to Jinka. Accommodation ,

Day 8: Jinka to Key Afer to Konso Drive from Jinka to Konso attending the
colorful Keyafer Market where the Tsemai, Ari and Benna tribes gather
together in one. Accommodation, Kanta Lodge at Konso
Day 9: Konso via Arbaminch to Langano Drive from Konso to Arbaminch (possibly
visit the Dorze Village), proceed to Langano. Accommodation, Sabana Resort
Lodge.
Day 10: Langano to Addis Ababa. Spend the morning relaxing by the shore of the
lake, drive back from Langano to Addis and attend an Ethiopian traditional
restaurant in the evening departure home. Accommodation, Ghion Hotel
